A. Great Lengths Service cost can vary greatly from client to client because each is truly a custom service.
There are also many GL application options to be considered, such as lengthening, full volumizing, zonal volumizing, dimensional color work or special needs applications.

Q. What if I just want an estimate and not a consultation?
A. Great Lengths is a premium brand and service. There are so many design options that it truly is not possible to give an accurate and educated estimate with out a consultation. This is why no prices/estimates will be qouted over the phone.

Q. Will it damage my hair?
When applied and maintained properly, the application will not damage your hair.
The skill level of the stylists is crucial for a damage free application and this is why Great Lengths Certified Stylists are the most sought after by extension clients worldwide.
Great Lengths USA has the most rigid requirements for certification in the industry.
Our mandatory certification course is on average 3 times longer than any other extension brand in the professional market.
Further, there are only a handful of extension brands that even require education as most companies position their training as an option, but not necessary.
In other cases, there are companies whose training consists of nothing more than a 20 minute how-to video or online “certification”, where the trainee has no hands-on learning experience or the eyes of a seasoned hair extension educator to evaluate their work and correct where necessary.
The key to a successful, damage free application lies in the details of the application.
There is no “cookie cutter”, “one size fits all” application technique, as each client has different hair conditions and desired results that must be considered.

Q. How are the Great Lengths Hair Extensions attached....is it with glue??
A. No, it is not glue.
The pre-tipped strands are made with a "keratin bond".
In 1992, Great Lengths International created and patented the “Synthesized Keratin Protein Polymer” bond for the application of hair extensions. In short, the GLI bonds molecular structure mimics that of human hair so that it possesses the same characteristics of human hair
Q. How long does it last?
A. We recommend removal every 3 to 5 months, depending upon the type of application performed (i.e. lengthening, volumzing, etc), the state/condition of the clients natural hair, and their lifestyle.
Q. Do you charge for removal of Great Lengths Hair Extensions?
A. It depends----Our salon fee for removal of Great Lengths Hair Extensions or another brand is based on a consultation, and starts at $100 per hour.
Complimentary Removal Service when you place a deposit down towards your second set of Great Lengths Hair Extensions.
Q. How much do you charge per bundle? I'm currently wearing Great Lengths Hair Extensions.
A. All salons present/offer their services and communication in different ways.
For this reason alone, we will share with you that The Loft Salon Studio does not offer "bundle pricing".
In our professional experience and opinion we have found that this information really is not helpful.
We respect that this service is a premium service, however, we only will discuss the overall fee for your new look.....and not the hair.
Q. How much will you charge me if I bring in my own hair?
A. Thank you for your consideration. We do not offer this service, however, invite your to consider having a thorough consultation and learning what we have to offer you.
Q. How long does my hair have to be to get Great Lengths Hair Extensions?
A. Minimum of 4" inches + or longer for believable, natural looking results.
5"+ inches for lengthenings.
Q. How long will my appointment be?
A. Appointment times vary according to the Great Lengths Hair Extension design plan that is customized for you.
Leave your day and time open.
Meaning, do not have any other outside plans, commitments and or trips that you are leaving for; including picking up your children. In many instances we book off an entire day.
Q. I have just finished chemotherapy. When can I get Great Lengths Hair Extensions?
A. Great Lengths Hair Extensions can be provided 6 months after the last treatment and your hair is 3+ inches long.
