What went wrong with your extensions?
ONE HAIR EXTENSION CERTIFICATE DOES NOT COVER AN ENTIRE SALON
Anna’s actual video testimonial of her experience going somewhere else. Her after photo is at the bottom of this page.
Hair Extension Corrections
Hair extensions are meant to be fun, and especially because this type of service is a luxury service.
What do you do when you find yourself so severely disappointed after spending either $100’s to $1,000’s of your hard earned money, but find that your hair extensions have been poorly applied & your money wasted???
Professionally speaking, if you are reading this and are in this situation…..I am so sorry. We have an expert background in corrective work and correcting hair problems.
Consumers, like Anna, seek my studio out for “hair extension corrections”. (Price only at consultation)
I do ask that you do give hair extensions a second chance. Personally, I have worn them several times and I do know first hand how beautiful they are and can be.
The most common question I do get is……..how much are your hair extensions?
Due to the fact that I, truly, customize each of my clients look……there is not a simple answer. My business will not waste your time or your money.
I Correct Poor Hair Extensions
Tip: Ask to see the stylists’ certificate that will be providing you this luxury service. You deserve to get what you are paying for.
Did you know?
- If you are seeking out a specifically Great Lengths Hair Extensions, that one certification certificate does not cover a whole entire salon?
- Tip- Be sure to ask to see the actual certificate.
- Why? Great Lengths policy is that which ever stylist is going to be providing their brand of hair extensions, has gone through the educational training(s). Their trainings are non-transferable.
Do salons have to be certified to provide extensions, in general?
Currently, there are no extra state regulations mandating that our industry have to obtain extra certifications in this area. I professionally feel that if would benefit you the consumer if there were certification requirements.
However, if the salon promotes Great Lengths, then each stylist that is providing the service is to be trained directly from Corporate Great Lengths.
Ann Marie Walts is certified by several companies, and has be certified by Great Lengths since 2006. In addition to being originally certified, in all 3 of Great Lengths applications, she has electively taken refresher courses with them.
Great Lengths trainings are 3 days long, and held in New York City. She has attended their program 4 times, which is a total of 12 days.
I specialize in customizing the size and amount of hair that will be attached. This ensures a comfortable fit, and virtually undetectable bonds. This technique is excellent for fine hair!
Hair extension do not cause damage………..Poorly applied hair extensions
improper aftercare are to be potentially be blamed.
One of the best salon experiences I’ve had so far! Ann makes every appointment private/one-on-one so you feel like you are getting celebrity treatment. I went in to get some tape extensions filled (I had them done by someone else in another town), when she told me that the extensions I paid for were originally blonde (my hair is dark brown) and that the salon just secretly bleached them without telling me. The blond tape would always show through my scalp when the wind would blow–I always just thought that was the color of the tape for tape extensions. Ann fixed them immediately, and put in Great Lengths extensions that actually matched my hair color, and hair weight as well. They feel so great, I can’t even tell I’m wearing them! Ann really does know what she’s talking about!
DIY HAIR EXTENSIONS
Your friend or husband might have the best intentions when they try to do your hair but it will only cost you more to have it done the right way.
The combination of DIY hair extensions and not properly taking care of them can result in a prolonged removal process.
It is not recommended to try to do your own extensions.
It may seen like a good idea, however it will be difficult to really experience getting a professional salon result.
A thick head of hair can hold up to 400 strands of keratin bonds.
It is normal to lose some, and extensions can last up to 5 months.
Removal can take between 2 to 4 hours when properly cared for.
An average install of fusion hair extensions can take 5 to 8+ hours depending on the amount of hair & the design.
I first met Ann Marie when I went to her in hopes that she would be able to fix/remove hair extensions I had gotten from another salon.
I had always looked at her work and loved it ! But at the time was in a pinch for money so I went to a salon that offered extensions for a “cheaper” price .
Guess it’s true you get what you pay for ! Because they almost couldn’t be removed from my head ! Ever since Ann Marie was able to not only fix my hair but make me love my hair again I was addicted to her services . Don’t let the pricing scare you away because every penny is truly worth spent at The Loft Salon Studio!

I started out with Great Lengths, and or but wanted to try a few before deciding what would be the best brand(s) and or applications to offer for my business.
